When this rod came out Zzipplex was fast establishing itself as the daddy uk beach fishing premium rods. This rod was probably the match mans favourite for a long time. Bite detection was awesome, it was amazingly light and yet powerful for whacking out those clipped down distance rigs over sand. Some anglers liked to upgrade it by putting on its big brothers (the Bullet) butt section making it a pro-am tip bullet butt.
